There are so many different photo editing software programs online today. It can be a bit overwhelming at times trying to weed through the many choices. For that reason, I decided to take you along with me through a quick look at some of my favorite and most used photo editing software programs for both beginners and expert level photo editors. Please note that all the photos in this article are copyright protected.
Adobe PhotoShop - The most popular free photo editor. You can create, modify, restore and organize your photos easily using this powerful and user friendly software. This free photo editor has a long list of features that are very useful to a photo editor. Some of my favorites include: fully customizable templates, pressure and touch sensitivity when creating and saving photos, image scrubber, background scrubber, and red eye reduction.
Photoscape X - This is another photo editing software tool for beginners. This program also contains many filters and allows users to adjust and enhance photos easily. Some of my favorites are the colorsense filter, crop/resize/rotate tool, lens blur and fireworks effect. Photoscape also has a long list of filters and a lot more that beginners and professionals can use.
Adobe Photoshop - I don't think there is any software program that is more widely known and used by professionals than Adobe Photoshop. This photo editing software works great on PC, MAC, Apple Macintosh computers and also on the iPhone and iPad. In my opinion, it's the best free version because it's easy to learn and use. If you're a beginner, start with the beginner's level because there are some really tough stages after that.
Photolemur - One of the newest apps boasts incredible features that photo editing software doesn't have right now. Some of the awesome things it can do include: rotate, square, overlay, add text, and create backgrounds. If you are still not convinced and want to download and try the Photolemur free software, you can get your full 7-day trial for an absolutely cheap price. The cost of the program is less than most professional photographers would pay for their software so it makes a very good investment.
BeFunky - Another cool photo editing tools is BeFunky. This is one of those apps for both beginners and professionals that have everything you could ever want or need. It's fun and easy to use and the best thing about it is that you can even save pictures in high resolutions using its 4K photo editing tools. You can make your pictures look like they were taken right after being taken using the BeFunky photo editing tools.
Google+ Photos - If you use any Google service on a regular basis this is the best app for you to download. I honestly don't think there is a single photo editing software product out there that offers as much as Google+ Photos. With almost all of Google's products including Google+ Photos you can easily change backgrounds, apply stickers, adjust colors, apply filters, and edit in so many different ways. This is definitely a must have for creative folks and geeks alike. Like many of the Google products this also comes free with an upgrade.
Pixlr - If you have never heard of Pixlr then you have likely been living under a rock the past several years. This is the best Google product for both designers and beginners alike. The best part about this editing tool is that you can completely customize it to display ads or none at all. This means you can set it up so that when someone looks at it they are viewing ads, and when they don't they are seeing plain text. This is great for blocking ads you don't want your kids looking at while you are at work or online. In my opinion, Pixlr is one of the best free tools available for creative individuals who want to enhance photos.
